The issues of this nursing diagnosis at children still remains insufficiently explored, therefore it would be useful to focus on clinical verification of the acute pain nursing diagnosis (00132) at children in nursing practice. The most common determining factors are: verbal expression of pain, painful face expression and also sleep disorders. The analysis or relevant sources led to the discovery of 5 studies describing fundamental signs and relevant factors of acute pain nursing diagnosis (00132) at children. The results show that the respective authors deal with the issue according to different aspects in both primary and secondary care. Currently, there exist only a few studies dealing with the issue of the acute pain nursing diagnosis (00132) at children. Nursing diagnosis (00132) is referred to as the most commonly used nursing diagnoses in the clinical practise. In the anticipated contribution were applied the proofs of levels I, II, III and IV. The evaluation of recollected proofs was realised according to Fineout-Overholt's and Johnston's methodology, who distinguish seven categories of proofs according to specific criteria. The aim of this work was to analyse recollected technical and scientific contributions to acute pain NANDA International nursing diagnostics (00132) at children and to find out which features of this nursing diagnostics are the most frequent.įor the 2000-12 period data recollection we used electronically licensed and freely available databases (Medline, ProQuest, Google, Google Scholar, Web of Science, Springler, Blackwell, Willey, Science Direct, Cochrane Collaboration) and the International Journal of Nursing Knowledge.
